I love it when you get a waiter/waitress who comes around and ask you how you're doing every 2 minutes until you actually need something. Then they're strangely missing. That just tells me they are lazy. Glass is half full, they'll ask if I need a refill. Glass empty, sitting on the edge of the table, in plain sight. They avoid the table like it is an infectious disease.

went to glasgow yesterday
went to a cafe called 'kember and jones' ate more food there than i usually eat a day this couple right next to us had two giant slices of cake and two baskets of bread with about a pint of houmous each and they just kept right on going as we left also bought this: ![]() |

i went to dinner at an indian friend's place recently, he cooked these chick peas with spices and stuff for like five hours or something, slow cooking, and it was really strong

couple of weeks after that i went to an indian lunch buffée, it was really good and really strong, i ate so much and i had only slept for three hours during both of the two preceding nights so i got a massive - i mean MASSIVE - case of the postprandial somnolence, a.k.a. 'the itis' - i was practically knocked out during the afternoon, and i didn't have to eat again until late in the evening
