Idk but she would go over to my house and have lunch with my mom without me

My dad helped her get a job after she graduated (she was older than me)

They just thought that she was good for me idk. They disapproved of all my other gfs, esp the one before her because i was 19-20 and she was 24-25 and chinese and i moved in with her. But most recent ex ended up moving in with me so idk. They just thought that i was doing good with her staying away from drugs and this girl did have the ability to leave super favorable impressions on people she had superficial contact with. However talk to any of her really close bfs or ex friends that she claims are 'vampiric' and you'll find the tell tale resentment that comes with a relationship with someone that practices emotional blackmail.

I think the fact that having a bf before my most recent ex gf might have had something to do with my conservative catholic parents' enthusiasm as well.

The dude I was complaining about has been in text-dialogue with my gf intensively lately, getting advice from her about some girl he's trying to make things work with. She's filling me in on the convo and he's playing really hard for pity. Hate to generalize, but does it not seem like dudes who gravitate more toward having female friends are often huge dweebs?

I know, I know for a fact he wanted to rebound with her a while back. It sounds like he's trying to play the tortured soul with her now. Fuck that.

Easy Fix!

mention your dislike of people who act the way he does without specifically mentioning him, basically do it out of context to him. if she takes to that then find a way to exemplify your own qualities out of context. it must be done honestly.

But you only really need to do this if your actually worried about the sitch

example: "so-and-so at work was all down in the dumps today and acting like things are so bad for them. it was just really annoying and they upset everyone around them, total bummer." or someshit

I did just that actually. Real life example of a guy who was the extreme of that. She was like "that sucks" but seemed ambivalent about her friend. Whatevell. Just wish she'd get that a guy who pulls that tactic knowing she's committed is lame and a shit friend.

the positive is that your gf seems like a really nice and supportive person. and if she can't see what its doing to you man then its probably because she has no interest in this other bozo.

good idea to make sure you point out that guys like that are lame with referencing him. but if you do come across an example of such lameness in a movie or in real life then there is no reason to say that such shit reminds you that other nuisance. that sort of direct connection could easily make it clear

More than likely she loves the attention

Most girls that have guy 'friends' and make a deal out of it are a tad histrionic

never pretend like you don't like it when more than one woman is into you at once.

in either case, the best wins. remember, there's no need to dedicate yourself to this girl, it's not like there are strict rules. make a friend that is a girl. get used to having women who aren't intimate with you being close to you, like reserves.
