The game mechanics bring to mind of Mohawk & Headphone Jack on the SNES if it was updated with current gen technology in 3D and refined more (coincidentally that was the last game I played). It was impressive, and just a lot of fun to play. My only complaint is that it just seemed far too easy with no sense of reward for much of it, then again i've only beaten the last boss and there's still others galaxies to explore, I have to find Luigi etc. The replay value should be pretty good.

The story levels were as expected, and really only act as a way to show off the functionality of the new tools, of which there are many and varied.

I've already published a shoot 'em up level - only possible with the new controlinator tool, easily the most innovative addition to the franchise - and am about to publish another. The scope to create in this game is far and above the original's.

GT5: all b-spec events and a-spec up until endurance races. got an X2010 from lvl 35 b-spec but hit a wall with the Vettel Challenge events. not patient enough to get bronzes without a wheel...

pretty fun, plays out like a movie allowing you control bond through the action scenes and the game shifts pretty seamlessly into cut scenes that progress the story

easy and fun controls and it's very challenging on the hardest difficulty

i'm rocking the multiplayer right now which is also good

Ya me too. I don't know if I'd consider myself a slow gamer though, I just get bored of games before the end. The last game I finished was SC2 and that's only because I forced myself to. The only reason I play games anymore is to interact with other people through them so most single player games I'm deeply uninterested in, unless it's like Amnesia(which I didn't finish either :P) which is REALLY well done.

i only ever got about half way through ffXII. it had some great ideas, but i didn't care about the story - or the characters - at all. kind of a sin for an rpg.

yeah looking through the manual (wtf is this thing it's like 100 pages) these look like the most non-distinctive Final Fantasy characters i've seen yet
