pop-punk that's not shitty and breakdown-laden
i like pretty much everything in here. i love sum-41's newest release. it's a bit better from there last one underdog. also, the starting line, four year strong, and new found glory. pretty much anything that's pop punk i'll give it a listen too. been listening to alot of sublime and reel big fish but that clearly isn't pop punk.

Classics! Love TBS and Get Up Kids.. Fight Fair is actually from where my band is from in San Diego, but their first EP to now has changed so much! They're still good, but it's definitely more like Beach Pop Punk now..

We just got play on 105.3's Loud and Local and good response from people around here, but I'd looove to get unbiased opinions from Pop Punk fans online!

What do you think?

Sounds like a shitty romance novelist. They might as well have called themselves Barbara Cartland. At least that would be mildly amusing.

Doesn't sound anything like a romance novelist to me. A manor is like a country-side house or huge piece of property or something. Never thought of it as a persons' name.

I know what a manor is. If you put a first name in front of any word it sounds like a person's name.

I don't think anyone was posting anything about Green Day and Blink182 being anything but shit.

There's good Pop Punk, you don't have to get your panties in a bunch about it.

See: Weezer (old stuff obviously), Say Anything, Gatsby's American Dream, A Wilhelm Scream (technically)

Blink-182 rules and half of those things you listed aren't pop-punk.

i cant believe no one has mentioned the ergs! at all yet. to me, there are so many bands listed in this thread that really arent pop punk at all. the person who listed dead mechanical and vacation has one of the best lists in here (even though i wouldnt consider dead mechanical a pop punk band). i hate genres though. it's hard to pin down bands to one true genre these days. carry on!

it's real disappointing, and obviously people will compare it to

a) older blink, seeing as how it's a... blink record...
b) AVA, seeing as how it sounds like a bad AVA album...
