Just now, i shoutboxed user aggelosm and then I left his profile, but when I returned the message was deleted.

As long as I'm staying in his profile, the message stays there, when I leave the profile and I return there is no message in the shoutbox.

Edit: The same apply for my shoutbox bin as well.

On another note, my avatar does not show itself when I post comments in news items.

It's like that for everybody. Or, at least, I can't see any avatars in news comments.

this is one of several reviews where the comments blend together with the sidebar, sometimes making it near impossible to read them. Please fix Asap.

Pretty sure the format encourages more writing anyway. Mine have got about 100 words longer since the change

I've noticed that whenever I'm on my profile page, the art for my reviews refuses to load, also I can't edit my favourite bands anymore.

http://i50.tinypic.com/1ihnq8.jpg

This only happens on my profile, I've cleared my cache, deleted my cookies, yada yada yada, still a problem. Don't know if anybody else is having this issue.

Disagree. If you wrote short reviews before you'd get a massive white space under the review, now you don't. It looks more tight and compact.

And I'm writing less now but idk if that's actually to do with the format. Longer reviews aren't necessarily better

I can't edit my favourite bands section and if I click on Edit My Info it takes me to a random old user profile page.

skeletor lives!!! unfortunately he also mass troll/ghost negs. this is the third or fourth time I have reported my approval rating randomly and suddenly taking a huge drop, and I've noticed quite a few users reporting the same things pretty often. Are we any closer to doing away with the pos/neg system? it seems to cause much more trouble than it's worth.

anyway, if you could look into my MYSTERIOUS dropping approval rating that would be appreciated. thanks.

I'm confused. You want the pos/neg system to be done away with, yet you casually report your rating and are very concerned that your rating has gone down.

Solution to this problem? Stop giving a fuck about ratings.

the pos/neg system not only gives instant gratification to new users, but at lea st partially shows newer reviewers whether or not they're improving with a tangible number. troll negs as annoying as they are...

I like the pos/neg feature for standards user. It's basically everything that Iluvatar said. Approval rating is flawed but a decent indicator of one's reviewing ability.
While we're at it, I think there's too much complaining about negs. It sucks, but it balances out the fact that no one on this site seems to have the balls (myself included) to tell established reviewers that their review was just not quite up to that user's pos standards. Just my $0.02 though

Dunno why but they removed the "dig it" button from the review page. You have to go to user ratings now.

Reviews right-panel has been ordering things awkwardly, 4.5 write-ups followed by 2.5's, things of that sort.

Might that be changed to ordering Staff/Emeritus, then contrib, then maybe highest approval rating (taking into account # of pos's/neg's)?
A side-effect of the new system is that whatever makes it on the 1st page of that panel ends up getting more "exposure" (especially consider the precision needed to change to the second point) so it just seems logical that these reviews be featured. Just my $0.02

I agree that sorting by status/rating makes more sense, but it's a more server intensive query and has the potential to slow things down. I will look into it.
