I've browsed the site on my phone from time to time. That's happened to me once or twice before, and that's generally during the time when the site goes through its "slow patches". I think most mobile browsers cut out after a certain period of time if they don't get a response

I tried adding an artist called (this is the full name of the band, parentheses and all):

Soil & "Pimp" Sessions

weird name I know..but I didn't know about the ampersand problem and I figure the parentheses are probably an issue as well. So when I search for them, I get an error saying "BAD URL, please re-enter":

I figured that the band didn't post and tried to do it one more time. Now there are two Soil & "Pimp" Sessions and neither of them come up unless I search (Soil &). I fixed the second one I posted so it says "Soil And Pimp Sessions". I was hoping a moderator could delete the first one I posted. Thank you

Hi,

I posted a review of Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark - Architecture & Morality’ today and realised the bug when the album image wouldn't appear. It appears that the album has been entered into the database twice (the correct one is the one with the release date of 1981). Would it be possible to merge the two albums, so the album art will appear on my review.

I lost all of my album ratings. How do I get them back? This has already happened to me twice! What's the point in staying on this site if my ratings get removed randomly?

Did you give a certain band's discog all 1's? Or alternatively, all 5's?

Only certain bands who were worthy. Some bands I really do think have nothing but classics. This site is bullshit to regulate ratings like this.

Just posted a review for The Cure - The Head on the Door but it seems to have added it a as new album when the correct album already exists in the database with the correct artwork, date (1985) etc. Pls could you merge the two, thanks.

The artwork has been added, but the album is still counted as seperate any way someone can put the two together because it looks like i'm the only one who has rated it, when the correct one has several.

I've been a member of this site for probably over 2 years or so. I thought this site was GREAT for keeping a track of my ratings for particular albums. Then one day I signed in and found all of my ratings REMOVED. I heard that this may be because I gave multiple band albums the same ratings. Okay, I'll admit. I gave Lil Wayne 1/5 for every album, and 5/5 for every Ulver album. But they were JUSTLY chosen. Do you remove ALL of my ratings just because of this reason? Why would someone spend their time trying to down or up-rate certain artists just to change such a small percentage? Jesus Christ. Give me a logical reason for this unreasonable system. No matter how many times I re-rate all of my albums, I'm going to do the same thing. I'm going to give all of Ulver's albums (most) 5/5 and I'm going to rate shitty artists 1/5 for their crappy albums. Music album rating nazis? I rightfully think so.

Why do you even waste your time rating EVERY lil wayne album a 1? Just do a single album and call it a day. Im pretty sure you didnt listen to every song off of every lil wayne album so you could justify rating it a 1.

Never the less, a warning should be given. I would have gladly removed my Lil Wayne album ratings (which I did when I was probably drunk) to keep all the fucking ratings I like to keep a track of. Oh well, what's the point anyways. This site is no IMDB.com for music.
