Louie

Quote:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Louie_%28TV_series%29

Louie is an American comedy television series on the FX network. It stars stand-up comedian Louis C.K. as a newly divorced father raising his two daughters in New York City.

The series is loosely based on C.K.'s life, and blends his stand-up material with extended semi-autobiographical comedy short films depicting moments of his off-stage experiences
the show premiered last night and i think i enjoyed it more than any newer tv shows i've seen recently. can't wait for new episodes

10x better than his last show

It was alright. His old show was pretty bad, and this one was better at least. His stand-up is genius, but that doesn't always transition to a show like this.

caught the beginning of the second episode when i got back from work the other night, seemed pretty good. don't know if it was uncensored since it was 2 am or if they actually aired him saying faggot and **** and **** but that's pretty cool

downloaded the episodes, gonna watch em in full later

I liked the pilot, but the next episode wasn't that funny.

I remember quite a few shits. Whats the other ****?

I agree the pilot was pretty hilarious, the second episode not as good. The show really needs to revolve around his relationship with his kids, as a lot of his funniest stand up is based around all the stupid shiit kids do.

Ahh ok. I don't remember any of those specifically but I wouldn't put it past him. FX is usually pretty lax compared to other networks about language. No fucks but most other things aren't off limits. Justified is the same way. Pretty refreshing actually because most other countries aren't conservative ****tards about what you can say on TV.

Cable television is not regulated by the FCC

but advertisers work as like a de facto censor

Which is crazy because its not like FX markets itself as a family network. If anything a show with more adult material would only get them more viewers. And lol at the fact that I could see like 10 dead bodies an hour if I watched **** like CSI but they can't say shit.

I mean that large bundle of sticks scene they had around the poker table was one of the funnier things I've seen on TV in a while and will probably keep me watching.
