Johnny Cash was good but it kind of ruins it for me when you ask people if they like old country and they say oh ya Cash ruled and they only know Ring Of Fire...

Hank Jr is terrible, yeah, III rules though. Paycheck was good, but I've never heard much from him to be honest. My dad's a huge fan of Frizzell.

Marty Robbins anyone? Not really country, but damn his voice is amazing.

Hank III's Risin' Outlaw album is so good

cash, hank III and Hank sr are the only country artists ive heard that i like tbh

also Hank Jr has some good ****, the early early stuff and **** like Family Tradition, Country Boy Can Survive, Whiskey Bent and Hell Bound, All My Rowdy Friends etc nothing wrong with those.

charlie daniels isn't even that good of a fiddler, which is the reason he's glorified on CMT.

john denver is pretty brilliant, but he's not even coutnry so idk what you're complaining about.
