Hercules Guitar Hanger
Do you guys think its safe to mount a Hercules Guitar Hanger into drywall using a hollow-wall anchor as opposed to mounting it directly to a stud? I've got a pretty specific location I want to put my hanger, and its all hollow wall at that location.
I know that stud mounting is always a better idea, but do you reckon using hollow-wall anchors is safe enough? http://www.herculesstands.com/guitars/GSP39WB.html ![]() Cheers =) |

If you use those toggle wing nuts it should be okay.
http://www.nuttybolts.com/catalog/images/ATW-Toggle%20Wing%20Anc.jpg Those things can hold a toilet cisterns (with the weight of water) onto the wall, so I reckon it should be okay for a guitar. |
