I sell phones as a job, so I have a couple that I've collected over the last year.

I use my iPhone 95% of the time though.

you know i really don't know?

apparently its an "all in one" handy dandy for the pretentious, geeky, and wall street multitasker

its like the itouch but with mobile broadband and a phone included, i'm pretty sure. so its a nice device

but battery life must stink for the thing. i would think. if used as it can be used

i would say its probably best used as those things other then a phone. for people who like to text and talk a little during the day or w/e. but get it for internet / texting / multimedia, music.

amirite timjim?

i mean is it really a practical phone? i wouldn't think so. not to do business on and stuff

I have a razr 2 and it sucks. I've gone through three of them, and the current one came with dirt in the screen.

My old phone was the original razr, and I loved it. Lasted two years, and died an unnecessary death.

It is, but it certainly has its flaws. As of right now, it can't send MMS (picture text messages), nor can it take videos and it's missing a flash from the camera. The battery life is pretty crap, too. I probably charge mine atleast once a day - but then again I use it very frequently.

For business? Not at all. Anytime someone comes into my store and suggests using it as a business device I have to laugh. I mean, as a phone it is good. It has all the features one would need, but it's mainly a personal entertainment device.

TBQH I love mine. It's great for the bus, and some of the applications are actually pretty stellar. Then again, in Canada it's about as good as it gets. We don't have the Google Android system out here yet.

i have a t-mobile g1. its going to be interesting as android and symbian go open source.

what does anyone think about apple's position on the iphone, keeping the operating system and the hardware closed, just like they did with macs (macs, lololol!) and their operating systems.

Heh, it doesn't bother me too much. It's fairly easy to get around with a little know how.

yeah, and there are plenty of apis avaiable to write applications on them but apple not licensing what it very obviously a class piece of hardware, a good operating system and a cool gui, i just think it is eventually going to go against tham as open source will innovate so much better...........or will it?

I'm not, I honestly don't get why people need such distractions on their phones.

Because for the same price as a regular phone I can have access to the web, my e-mail, better (and often times, free) games and a quality music player.
