Unless you fancy actually working on it as an actual ongoing musical project with us? D:

I'll probably be pretty useless as an actual musician, maybe could do some guitar parts. I could play pseudo-producer if you like? I'm going away for about a week today so gives you some time to get some stuff together! |

We work slow, haha. I wouldn't count on much being done in a week's time. I'm moving house like tomorrow, so I don't know how long it'll be before I'm back working on it. And because we're not a proper band with proper band practices, we're just not that productive.
To be honest, someone with technical skills would be a massive asset. We want to write sweet songs, get them released and kind of be on par with the big guys in the industry. But if we're doing more electronic stuff, that's a side of music where production is probably the biggest part of it, and we're production noobs ![]() There are a few songs floating around in various stages of completion though. I'll try and put together a folder of stuff and see if you actually like it first ![]() |

That sounds like a plan motherfucker!
Well yes I think I can fill that role, upload the folder and email me the link and I'll have a listen before when I get back. |

I want a sweet electric uke that looks like a Fender Strat and uses steel strings.

Just moved in to the new place. Pretty basic, but it's mine ^___^ Got the computer set up. No internet, but I'm tethering my computer off my iPhone. Think I might just not pay for an internet connection and use this. It's not the fastest internet ever, but it works and I'm already paying for it anyway
![]() I'll put that folder together you later Joel - I'll also put a text file in explaining what's what ![]() |

I was actually thinking about getting one of these ebay electrics, though, installing my own bridge, routing a small strat pickguard, and having custom pickups made. http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-STAGG-MODEL-EUK-SB-SOLID-BODY-ELECTRIC-ST-T-STYLE-UKULELE-GIG-BAG-/390382385198?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item5ae49a782e Last edited by FunkMetalBass; 01-17-2012 at 06:40 AM. |

Epiphone makes an electric uke, too, and it sounds pretty rad. Watched a buddy of mine play one a for an open mic a few months back and was very impressed with it.

The only bummer is that it's still acoustic too. My uke is acoustic/electric, which is cool, but I hate the issues I occasionally get with feedback from amplified acoustic instruments. I was thinking more along the lines of the Mandocaster with 2 or 3 pickups and in a concert ukulele size.

Haha, I'm thinking it'll either be really cool and I'll end up as some sort of Michael Weston-esque, corporate espionage expert. Or it'll suck dog balls and I'll be some stiff working for ASIO *shudders*. |

I've been really busy, sorry. Moving in is time consuming, and we've been preparing our housewarming party all week. I'll get it done though
how was the trip? |

haha all good man no rush, I'm pretty flat out too. I know how you feel, I moved cities two months ago, then moved into my fiance's parents, then to my parents for a month, then back to her's. Granted we weren't moving all our stuff, it's still pretty shit house. So good luck bro!
It was awesome, I look like a fucking greek addonnis, without the muscles and shit, so just bronzed. Got so much sun, no burns though which was great. Went through a litre of Jamerson's whisky in a couple of days. Which is very moderate by my standards. There are guys that will do 1 bottle in a night, but good luck to them in the morning. Also...Cider is great. All hail cider! |
