Snap. Fell on the keyboard. Complete accident.

Suppose I should elaborate.

Gretsch Catalina Club Jazz 4 piece. Mahogany. Walnut Glaze finish.

18x14"
14x14"
12x8"
14x5" snare

First drums, barring one snare drum, I've bought in over 9.5 years.

Left-handed drummer playing right-handed kit?

Kinda weird how he leads with his left foot for single pedal work, but when he does double pedal stuff he switches and leads with the right. At least that's what it looks like he's doing.

I always wanted some short stack toms.

Also, my ISP have decided to try and charge me 130 to look at 8ft of analogue phone line -_- But another want 50 to install a fiberoptic line.

No prizes for guessing which i went with

I'm p stoked Phil Dawg. It's being posted today, so hopefully it'll arrive Friday. I may not be able to play it til next year though. I've already got three kits setup at home so I'm pushing it as it is. May have to wait for a weekend where I'm the only one home to get into it properly.

I thought that too. He plays pretty lightly which made me think maybe he's had a repetitive wrist injury and is alleviating stress on his right (or left?). Dude knows how to do double-bass though, fark. Even with triggers you need to be hitting those notes.

Do y'all think a 24" Paper-Thin would be too washy to use effectively?

I'm thinking of getting a few Dreams. 24" Paper-Thin, 24" Medium, 18" Medium-Thin and two 16" 9XXg/11XXg for hi-hats.

Yeah. They're pretty good if you get a good one. My mate got a massive clucker of a 24" though. It was badly weighted to one side.

For a ride, probably. As a crash, it would be a beast though

Thin rides are way to washy as rides. I'd only use them as crashes.

I play two pretty heavy rides right now; 24" Avedis Medium & a 22" K Heavy. My other four generally get used as crashes, yeah.
