Jack's Mannequin - The Glass Passenger
So I found myself a copy of this on the interweb and I'm loving it. On first listen, my favorite tracks are:
- The Resolution - Spinning - American Love - Annie Use Your Telescope - Caves So, thoughts/discussion on this awesome new album. |

I love in 4:07 at caves when he sings "beat my body like a ragdoll", Andrews voice just sounds awesome.
And is tracky 10 Lillaby or Lullaby? The leak I got said 'lillaby' |

Mine said that too, though it was also a leak, but I assumed it was "Lullaby" as that's what's spoken through out the song, but hey, maybe it is "Lillaby".

I'm pretty sure the song is called "Hammers and Strings (a Lullaby)".
But... I really like this album a lot. |

Swim made me do something I just don't do on a first listen of an album. I couldn't help but repeat it.

Really only started to listen to Jack's Mannequinn in the last couple of weeks. Love Everything in Transit so much, I haven't really listened to The Glass Passenger so much.
But it's not really pop-punk is it? say it ain't so! |

Just got around to listening to 'The Glass Passenger' - have to say, I wasn't that impressed. It seems to have gone power chorus mad and the lyrics seem to have lost a lot of their bite. Second half wasn't so bad but overall seemed a bit 'cheesy'
......maybe it will take a few more listens - but disappointed! |
