Cymbal and drum pricing
I hate to make another thread about this but I really need your help on how to price out my drum set so i can make the most money with selling everything seperatly.
If you guys could just lend me a hand on prices that I should sell certain parts of my drumset for it would be greatly appreciated. Mapex M birch 6 piece black laquer - new skins, remo pinstripes all around, snare has embassedor over hazy 300. On the bass drum there is an Evans Emad. Everything else on the drum set is stock including the pedal. 14" Zildjian Avedis A custom Master Sound - mint condition, been played maybe for 1 hour. 16" Zildjian Avedis Medium Crash 18" Zildjian Avedis Medium Thin Crash 20" Sabian AA Heavy Ride 18" Wuhan China 1 Pearl Straight and 2 Network Boom with counter weights All cymbals are mint and have been used by me for less then 100 hours. No cracks just a lil dirt build up from over the last year. For the whole kit I was hoping for around 1750 - 2000. I was just wondering what you guys think a reasonable pricing range for these would be. |

I wouldn't like to price in another currency. Whilst I could price in GBP and convert to CND, but the price may still be off.
Perhaps there's some helpful Canadian on here... |

$1700 would be fair, imo. If the stuff's all in good condition, you should be able to get a decent whack of cash for it. This number is somewhat random, I don't have price lists in front of me, but it doesn't seem unreasonable.

why not check on ebay for kits u would consider similar value ie. similar qulaity drum kit and cymbals or better drums with worse cymbals etc and check the prices the sellers have put on them and price urs around the same.

As of right now im thinking of selling everything seperatly. I got a terrible offer of $650 for the drums or $800 for the drums and a unused set of A custom Soundmaster hats. I turned it down, i think they are worth far more then that.
This is what i had in mind and you guys can tell me if they are reasonable. Drums: $800 A Custom Sound Master Hats: $250 Avedis 16" medium crash: $150 Avedis 18" Medium thin Crash: $180 Sabian AA heavy Ride 20": $175 Wuhan China: $40 Stands: $40 a piece Total for $1715 all together Anything over or under priced that you guys see? |

One that pops out as overpriced is that china, that's basically what it is new, i wouldn't hope to get more than $25 for that tbh.
Idk about the rest, i'm not sure what the normal prices are. If anything, the cymbals should come down just a tad, only if you have trouble selling them. |
