Tama 2004 Rockstar
I have a midnight blue tama rockstar that I Modified.. eg no more star cast mounting system.
Its a 4 piece. 12" 13" 16" toms and a 16"X22" kick drum. I only used it for about a year before I bought another kit. Its a pretty darn good condition with limited scratches. *edit* I'm located in Riverside California, USA $250.00 Sorry for the low quality. p.s. Well, I'm good with paying you for shipping. I'm in Indiana, and CA's too far away. Besides, I drive a thoroughbred sports car. Not exactly space for carrying a drum kit.

not a problem then. I just need to find some pictures so you can see what i did to the mounting. Someone else actually did it on these boards a few years ago and I decided to give it a shot as well and I was really pleased with the results. Instead of mounting off the rims it mounts off the top, but it doesnt poke a hole in the shell other than 2 screws. If you've heard any horror stories about the older starcast system then you will know why I did this.
*edit* I couldn't find any pictures using the search function so I'll probably have to go home and take some pictures tonight. |
