probably because the other one was maple, this is acrylic.

It's easy to buy kits as an adult. For the price of my last car I can't even think about how many high end kits I could buy.

I'm about sound as a player more then looks, some people are more into looks. Seems that sound should be the major factor in purchasing an instrument, always made me wonder about online sales of instruments....
