The value of the Australian dollar is surely different than ours.

i think its because there isnt as many huge musical store chains in Australia, thus being less competition. less competition means they can sell at practically at whatever price they want. these prices are actually really good, much better then new prices.

That, and the product distrubution is HORRIBLY inefficient.

For Americans to compare the the price I'm selling these factory sealed items to what they retail for in stores:

A Custom 14" Hi Hats $700
http://www.onlinemusicstore.com.au/index.php?page=showProduct&id=ZIAC14HH

A custom 16" Crash $430. http://www.onlinemusicstore.com.au/index.php?page=showProduct&id=ZIAC16C

A Custom 18" Fast Crash $510 http://www.onlinemusicstore.com.au/index.php?page=showProduct&id=ZIAC18FC

A Custom 20" Ride $600
http://www.onlinemusicstore.com.au/index.php?page=showProduct&id=ZIAC20R

I'm not sure how much the gig bags sell for...

But anyhoo, thats $2240+shipping compared to $964.95+shipping.

The choice is obvious :-S

Possibly, depending on how many of these packages I can move I likely will split them into individuals in about a months time. If you've got some things I want then I may consider. Would you be after a 16" or 18"?

P.s. I've also got 16 Avedis M-Thin crash, 18" Avedis Fast crash, 16" AA Crash and 18" AA Fast Crashes here.

Wow, I mean if AUD is about at par with CAD, and USD is about at par with both - you guys really have to bend over for cymbals...

Prices you are giving are a little higher than what we'd pay over here in NA - but, ya - fantastic deal for any Aussie buyers!

More likely an 18" A Custom. Drop me a line on MSN or via SMS when you decide if/when you're going to split packs.

Given the exchange rate, this cymbal package is radically overpriced ( I'm looking at MusiciansFriend.com ) at the identical, factory package.

http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Zildjian-A-Custom-Cymbal-Pack-With-Free-18-Fast-Crash?sku=490026

In AU that is 744.

964 to 744 is a hefty price hike, considering shipping is additional on the ebay sale posted.

I just hate to see people get ripped off.

The question is not about shipping price, it's about unit price. Please stick to the subject matter or, as you put it, move along.

It's pricesisely relevant. Once you factor in shipping, and customs, and the fact MF doesn't ship to Australia, it's not such a bad deal.

But feel free not to bid if you don't want to

You pay for what you can buy. If you can't buy from overseas, your point is moot.
Charlie, i'm interested in one of your 18"s so give us a bell.

For example www.kosmic.com.au
