Also, I'm really considering just telling you three to take it to your other forum, since the only real reason I can imagine you guys posting here is to show off your knowledge of black and death metal to other people. Unless the other forum isn't still around.

A "NP" is easily a good way to start a thread, as anyone interested in what you're listening to can kick off a discussion by speaking about it; unfortunately, it didn't really happen in this case.

Showing off black metal knowledge? This is a black metal thread! Countless times in the past I have tried to actually have people discuss black metal; but instead, all we ever seem to get is post after post of people asking "have you heard of this band? okay, i'll send it to you, check your rep!"

Is this really BM discussion? No, it's band whoring. Post after post after post of countless releases (70% of which are usually worthless) being whored around, and then plenty of spam in between from forum members like i_am_the_robots, Tojes and co.

You don't have any reason whatsover to chastise "us 3" (at least me, what the fuck have I done to offend anyone who "didn't deserve it"?), and just admit it. Sure, Dargon and Niflheim enjoy trolling other members quite often, but you'd have to be a fucking idiot to claim that even the most popular members don't do the same, albeit in a different manner.

I'm not really sorry if you're offended at me showing off what I know about black metal in a black metal thread. I had sort of hoped that this thread would run smoothly and have some decent discussion, but as always; and typical of this forum; people had to bitch because Dargon, Niflheim and Deathcrush are horrible, horrible people who are out to hurt you all.

I'd expect better from you, Riva.

I can't get enough Brenoritvrezorkre. I have Vermyapreb and Nevgzerya. They are both really good, but I much prefer Nevgzerya. I love the song "Borrarp!", though.

In all honesty, you can't allow this thread to be created and expect it to run smoothly. Hell, haven't we tried that at least three times? You're eventually gonna have to live with the fact that there will be arguments on almost every page and almost no one will get a long.

If you can't except that, there's really no point in allowing this thread to exist.

Tbqh I don't even care anymore. If someone bring up an "untr00" band and Dargon or Nifleheim throw a hissy fit about it, then it comes down to we (me included, I haven't been so good at it) just need to ignore them and continue with our discussion.

I wasn't chastising just you three with the NP comment, it applies to all. I am not offended at all by your posting either, and neither am I by Dargon's. I have a personal dislike for Niflheim, but that is it. And the fact of the matter is it is incontrovertible that other posters like Hbp and Rattlehead will never let you guys be. I hardly think I was being rude or insulting to any of you by suggesting that you and they and I would all have an easier time of it if you took it to the other forum.

And I am seriously trying to crack down on trolling. I am attempting to reign in the jumped-up flame-baits like Rattlehead, and the regulars like Tojes or Dargon. If you think it isn't working, or isn't worth it, join the club. But to be honest I am not of the opinion that such behaviour isn't the way MX should be.
