im not fat no but id like to drop about 10ish lbs for summer but i much prefer just eating like a king and lifting heavy

yeah either or really.
i just kinda love doing snatches at the mo, i wanna properly fluid motion. haven't ran biked or swam in ages.
might join a softball team for the summer. then i will be doing sprint style running, throwing and batting, plus have a lush cool hobby outside for the summer.

snatches are super cool i should try and add oly movements like that soon, although my gym doesnt really have the equipment where you can drop a bar like that

been really focused on form lately and my squat is more perfected than i ever thought i could get it, i think my flexibility has been getting better or something

^that makes me sound like a huge noob but i have really tight hips and a bad knee i put out in high school football

well yeah flexibility is so important!

did some weights with my sister at the weekend, and she was always wayyy more flexible than me, but when i showed her my squats and i saw hers, i was like, jesus i am like a rubber band in comparison with her. just cos i had been practicing those movements, could get way further down, pretty much on the floor, than she could. but i got her working on some positions so she should get better too soon enough.

yeah our gym is fine, i mean i'm not dropping the bar yet, i'm only at 25kg atm. the main thing is that i use a 15kg bar which has a smaller diameter than the normal 20kg ones so i can grip the bar easier.

yeah i see some girls doing snatches with lighter weights and not dropping them just be careful though they are normally dropped for a reason

yeah definitely. when i start doing it for the weight i am sure it will get to the point where it's a struggle to top out and will have to drop once up there.

i sorta just been doing kettlebell and bodyweight exercises and cycling for a while and it's fantastic, it's so good for cardio --but i kinda feel like bulking but have no idea how to approach it-- just protein shakes, a gym membership and heavy weights right?

At my highest weight since i was 17 now

When i was 17 i bench pressed 120, cleaned 110-120 and did weighted pull-ups with 40 kg

Now it usually takes me several hours just to drag my ass out of bed

How much do you weigh Laura?

I don't really have a gym to go to, that's why I'm so weak. Gyms are very expensive, and I'm pretty poor. There is a church nearby that has a gym, but they only stay open till 4 pm and many days I just don't have an opportunity to go. Today, I was going to go but we fell under a tornado warning (I live in tornado alley) and the weather service said to shelter in place, so I decided to stay home. The last time I went out under an advisory like that, I got soaking wet and the winds were so strong it almost obliterated my umbrella = not doing that again.

I was considering getting my gym membership back but my local gym is just too expensive and since I live near hills and woodlands it'd make more sense to just exercise there.
I couldn't go running out on the streets with everyone watching, find it really uncomfortable for some reason.
