i'm learning to run again instead using forefoot strike technique. slowly does it. combining it with HR training again, using range [180-(age+10),180-(age)]. combined it's good cos i am very slow at that heart rate at the moment, but as my legs/calves/feet get stronger in the new technique i will be getting faster at the same heart rate at the same time.

going to focus on SL5x5 and running for the summer.

Sweet.
I've been focusing a bit more on leg work the last couple of weeks. Before I was playing football two times a week so I was mainly doing conditioning work and perhaps one intense leg session a week. Now I can seriously put some work in.

good for you laur that's huge progress is a short period of time

at some point the progress will slow a bit so just be careful when you up the weights

down 8lbs in 4 weeks now, the exact rate i wanted to cut, no strength lost in any of my lifts either, so stoked

that is my all time graph.
red=bw, blue=squat, green=dl, yellow=row, grey=bench, purple=oh press

progress goes up and down constantly but overall trend is up. app tells me what to do after 3 failures at one weight in a row. deloading and increasing in smaller increments. i still only increase in 2kg increments so going up slowly enough.

good job chuck on the cutting.

got a hurty elbow do haven't done any this week. climbed one of the yorkshire 3 peaks yesterday though so good hiking muscles today.

it's an app that makes the graph, but graphs add a ridiculous amount of incentive for me so yay!

did some more climbing type stuff this weekend, went to this outdoor climbing park with these like obstacle courses with varying difficulty, finished the day doing one of the three courses with the highest difficulty rating, felt pretty sweet to get through

most importantly i have an amazing farmer's tan now

heh, I got me a farmers-tan too. dang tank-tops.

I started up climbing at the gym. My first climb after a 3+ month hiatus. The will is strong but the body is weak; I must have only managed no more than 10 climbing attempts in nearly 2 hours, and my hands were rubbed raw cause my tendons seem to have shrunk down over the period of absence.

i did better this time around than last but it amazes me how quickly i tire out doing that sort of thing

it's full body but i would think a big part of that is pure mental fatigue

absolutely, the calmer you are the better. No doubt, some of the moves require a calculated attack, but mostly you gotta keep calm, if there is a place for your feet always make use of them, the more you engage your core the more energy you save. Good shoulders and chest make engaging the core more feasible in some of the more precarious positions (like when you're climbing up an advanced incline, you should stick your chest out and get your torso as close to the wall as possible). It takes a lot of core, for example, to keep yourself stuck to the wall at an incline when only your tip-toes and hands are keeping you in place, it's like a full extension of your reach.

this is a pretty crazy gif, I guarantee this guy has practiced this run a million times to take the risk factor out, otherwise this is absolutely nuts.

climbing is rad.
went for a bike ride followed by a swim in the lake this evening. was so epic. get out the lake and run up the bank and the view is magnificent.

What can I do to have large, firm breast muscles?

Like many women, I am not happy with my breasts as they are. Being overweight as I am, my breasts are not much more than deflated balloons. I want to have fine breasts, perhaps more than any other muscle group.
