I like it, except I don't think the natural finish fits the flying V shape.

Thanks for all the comments guys
![]() EMGs I've decided to go for (more than likely) bare knuckle pickups partly for the variety really. I've been very impressed with the tones of the Miracle Man, and the nailbombs and warpigs have a brutality in tone that I rather like (plus the Warpig image pwns ), and they just seem like good alternatives that are pretty (relatively) unique. I'm after a personalised guitar, and to me at least, emgs are becoming too much of a norm to have a place in such a project. That said, I may well be proved wrong in the end (I intend to tinker with it once it's done). We'll seePickups rings I like the pickup ring around the humbucker, but I'm not sure what you mean about them bieng tacky. The single coil doesn't really need one thanks to the black racing stripe, so that one will more than likely be ringless Thanks again for the comments ![]() |

Whatever I can get :P
But ideally a 2210 and a string lock. Expensive ftw! But like I said, I'm not cutting corners. If it comes to it and the guitar isn't worth it, I'll rethink spending so much on the bridge |

You might as well buy the bridge either way, because if you end up not using it then, I gaurantee you will eventually.

To be honest, I'm not bothered what bridge it ends up with, just so long as it's good. I'd understood Kahler's to be very very good, but I've heard/read somethings lately that have kind've knocked them

Jees, this thread took some finding =/
Anywho's, update. (picture update of all the parts soon, then building can commence )I'm loathe to purchase 2 sets of tuners in order to get the 4x2 configuration. I'd like to, but I've not the money if I want quality. So. I've slightly rethought the design, in so far as I'm considering a Dean style headstock. What sayest you? |
