religion is what someone believes they should do to reach God, it isn't what God tells them to do to reach Him, so if God tells me how to get saved by Jesus and i do it, then im not being religous(doing what i think i should do and not what God says i should do) im doing what He is telling me to do, there is only one way to get saved, there is so much u have ta know before i can acually answer this clearly-thanx fur askin

So you believe in God and that Jesus was his son, but don't agree with organised religion?
edit: this probably belongs in the Official Christianity thread, thinking about it Last edited by The_Passenger; 06-18-2006 at 04:23 PM. |

Im Christian so of course i believe God, and Jesus. This is confusing but religion is everything a person himself does to reach Him,not what God does ta reach us, God sent Jesus to save us, so it cant be religion, it was Him reaching us, we didnt send Jesus, He did

ok...
Since it has been scientifically proved (that is, beyond any doubt) that certain people are susseptable to have their subconcious operate independantly of their active thought and come to seperate comclusions than those of their concience, and that in some people these seperate decisions are voiced as clearly as the person's own voice, and that they usually discuss things to which the person's life has been dedicated (eg. one woman said it was like a voice in her head showed her the solution to maths problems, another said she discussed thoughts with the character of a book she was writing)... Why should we listen to scripture? |
