Mod my Strat

I've got money and I'm getting ready to order the parts, new tuners, new bridge, new nut, new control scheme.

ITT, vote on my new tuners.

Also, is a graphtec trem-nut good?

Which wilkinson variation is best?

What do you guys think of a simplified control scheme of 5 way switch, and 500k push-push pot for volume/coil tapping?
Tunerwise though:
Sperzel locking
Schaller locking.

Also, what color hardware, what color pickguard?

You posted a pic of ur strat in the gutiar forum and I;d have to say a white pearloid pickgaurd or tortoise shell. I would leave the hardware chrome coz I prefer it like that. Or maybe leave the pickgaurd as is and get some aged pup covers and what not.

It's your guitar.
You decide.

this post does not contribute to your idea at all

just thought I'd get that out of the way.

I've been thinking about modding up my strat copy lately. I have a pretty cheap Strat Copy, and when I get some money, it's gonna be a total project guitar. I haven't had too many thoughts about it, but I know I want new pickups and a new neck, and with that new neck will come new tuners and what not. The trem is not great on it, so I've been thinking about just blocking it off. But I want to get a Warmoth 22 fret rosewood neck with reversed headstock, and for the pups, I know I want a Fender Texas Special in the neck, and I've been thinking about a Fender Enforcer humbucker in the bridge (It's a HSS) but I might end up getting a duncan or something for it.

and yeah, that's all for me.

horrendous grammar and run-on sentences ftw!

I always thought that the Kluson tuners are the best. Some locking tuners can kill sustain due to their density. The Kluson safeti-post tuners are just wonderful; I don't think you'd have any tuning problems if you use those and a bone nut with some #2 pencil rubbed into the slots.

It's not my decision, but I'd go with the Kluson tuners.
