I'm not sure about sites, but there are a few lutiers here who could probably make you one if you can't find ANYTHING at all

I probably would do it for you sometime this summer, but like you said, money is a limitation and I'm sure overseas shipping won't help much.

I'm not sure, I've never shipped outside of the states before.

I say in the summer because I have to get settled into a place to live and get all my tools and stuff together.
But, AG (a mod here) lives in the UK and he might be interested in building one for you.

Nice.. You have any contact details or anything? Obviously you yourself are a luthier, how much ( in dollars, ill convert to pounds) would you charge for a finished in black, swamp ash jazz bass.

Would it cost more to have holes drilled?

Yeah, you can contact me through email. pitfallx AT hotmail DOT com.

I'm not sure of the price of swamp ash off the top of my head, but I think I could say it'd probably be over $200. Definitely not over $300. That's just me though, I don't like charging an arm and a leg. Then of course, there's shipping and I have no clue how all that works.

Wait til AG comes by, he's a mod here and might want to hook you up with that. I believe he has the tools, the skills, and he lives in the UK as well.

edit: oh yeah, I wouldn't charge more for holes either; unless you want like a whole bunch of 'em for something. And the rough price range I gave is without hardware, the pickguard, or anything of course.
