i had a thread a few weeks back, tlaking aobut my problem with my pickup. I bought a new Seymour Duncan 59 to put in my guitar. But when i went to solder everything in, there was no green or white wires or anything. Just themetal casing its in, and the silver wire in the middle. and yes, i tried cutting back the wire to expose the others but they simply arent there. Am i just an idiot, or did i get defective pickup or something?

Contact the company. Either that or take it to a pro to have a look, you could end up messing it up or something.

Yea, not all Humbuckers come with more than one wire. you should have checked it out before. I'm sure if you talk to the guys at Semour Duncan, they'll get you what you want, and maybe even just for a trade.
