Mixing Passive and Active Pickups

I was just wondering if there would be any problems installing an active single coil in a guitar with two passive humbuckers

no but it woudl tell peopel ur a cheap bastard and dont feel like upgrading the other pickups i see guitars with one active and the rest passive on ebay all the time so u wouldnt have a problem

I think it would be fine. you just have to make room for the battery.
