DIY pedals
has anyone ever attempted to make one? is it pretty simple or difficult? I'd like to try but I don't really know much about electronics and circuit boards

Ihave made i few, it's not hat hard if you can solder and read schematics. A fuzz or a booster is a good first pedal to build. For sites about check my supplies an d useful websites thread.

you could try the strwaberry ice or Aidan's volume pedal pictorial to start off with. Very easy.

I made an A/B box, my soldering iron was rusty though so the solder wouldn't stick right.

i'd like to try one, but i really don't know anything about it haha....my networking teacher also teaches an electronics class, so I could ask him for help...
maybe you guys could suggest some good projects? a compressor would be cool, but I'd like to start with like fuzzy distortion stuff but I'd like to be able to adjust the tone with a knob or something i'm excited about trying one of these projects =D |
