DIY pedals

has anyone ever attempted to make one? is it pretty simple or difficult? I'd like to try but I don't really know much about electronics and circuit boards

Ihave made i few, it's not hat hard if you can solder and read schematics. A fuzz or a booster is a good first pedal to build. For sites about check my supplies an d useful websites thread.

I made an A/B box, my soldering iron was rusty though so the solder wouldn't stick right.

i built an orange squeeze compressor a week ago. but it doesn't compress. all it does now is boost the signal to the point where i'm affraid of blowing out my amp. building one isn't that hard, its just a pain figuring out where you fucked up

they're actually quite simple (well alot of them at least)

i havn't built any yet, but i completly modded out my DS-1, and modded my wah in addition to making it true bypass

its a pretty fun hobby

i'd like to try one, but i really don't know anything about it haha....my networking teacher also teaches an electronics class, so I could ask him for help...

maybe you guys could suggest some good projects?

a compressor would be cool, but I'd like to start with like fuzzy distortion stuff

but I'd like to be able to adjust the tone with a knob or something

i'm excited about trying one of these projects =D
