thinking of modding my 'ray

ive been entertaining the thought of adding a second pickup to my 'ray. i know they come HH now, but 1. it would be cheaper than buying a new one, and 2. i want it wired differently. i played with a schematic in paint:

im thinking i would add a second 3-way lever for the new pickup, and run the levers through a blend knob, then to the volume and eq.
any thoughts or suggestions?

Edit:blah photobucket is fuzzing up the picture. lemme see if i can get a better one up

there we go. fix'd

You may wana stack the volume and blend controlls so you don't have to carve out more for the controll cavity. Just a thought though.
