Look at black comedians. 90% of their act is either making fun of themselves or white people.

When I hear Jewish jokes (being a Jew), they come in two varieties: the money-loving miser kind, and the Nazis-****ed-your-ancestry kind. The first I can deal with and make them all the time. The second is purely insensitive and has no value in terms of humor of any kind except where a sadist is concerned.

Some things aren't there to be taken seriously. Try recognizing them and enjoy life a bit more.

Racist jokes are only funny when all parties involved know it's a joke. Comedians can make jokes about race because the people watching them know they're jokes. But most people aren't comedians (no matter how funny they think they are), so I can see how it could come off as just stupid racist quack.

It's completely understandable that one would take offense to them. I believe, however, it's pointless to make topics like this because it doesn't solve anything. Racism and racist jokes are never going to suddenly disappear. The only thing left is to desensitize yourself and laugh.
