Help on Keytars!

I'm after a keytar, having seen photos of one being played. I've looked around in Google, and after going to several sites, the only things I've managed to work out are that if I look in 2nd hand shops/eBay, I'm bound to find one, and that I need to plug it up to MIDI...

I'm not working this out too well, so if someone can help me out, it'd be greatly appreciated. Thankies!

a lap Steel; Guitar, is a bunch of strings fixed on a box shaped thing, and you play it just like a guitar actually, pretty cool

You can pick a great Optimo N231 keytar for about $100, I would suggest getting it or looking in the Chantone's Big Book 'O Keytars

That and there are other reasons:

- A lot more portable!

- Buy a small guitar amp to go with the keytar and you'll be set up before the guitarist!

- You can move around on the stage, which is GREAT! It's tough to groove as much when you're stationary.
