Neither Blink 182 or Greenday are emo.
And just because you don't like Greenday doesn't mean that they suck, just that you don't like them.

some people would rather listen to non-stop
powerchords and same timing music thats simple.

I love playing Blink 182 also, i like both blink and green day, i dont think either of them are emo. It sucks though MX is gone, thats the only place i could find blink 182 drum tabs, now i got to go all by ear, which is kinda fun though.

I'd say alot of Metallica stuff sounds pretty cool and is relitivly easy, or try Meshuggah if you want a challenge, lol :P

(I haven't liked Metallica for a while but their riffs are still cool.)

ok, back to the beginning... lets face it... musicians hate green day... because they're so simplistic and predictable... people who aren't musicaly oriented love green day because its what seems like everyone is listening to and they don't appreciate the genius of bands like metallica and bands like thatbecause of their LYRICS and SINGERS... musicians look for MUSIC quality, while those who are not musicaly oriented look for the voices that they like...
