It's from from the beggining of Sly & the Family Stone's "If You Want Me To Stay".

I dont have a piano in front of me, so this is doing it by ear.

I believe the songs in B minor.

First thing is an octave on B. Then B A F# D E B D E D F# (slides back down to) D F# A . . . all single notes
