Trivium COB and Amon Amarth concert review

Okay ya'll last night I saw Trivium Children of Bodom and Amon Amarth! at the white rabbit in S.A Texas. It was my first EXP with AA I had never even listened
to a single song (shame on me) They came out with energy and kept it the whole time. I was right up front getting pressed against the stage (lucky me)
and I really like them. at the end of the show I gave Fred one of my pick I brought with me...he laughed and said Thank you! So I really liked AA and I'm definatly gonna get some of their albums and look forward to the next time they come.

Then Trivium took the stage....now I love COB they are incredible and all...but I was there for Trivium. So I was hyped about it when the end of everything started playing. They then went into Rain then Drowned and torn asunder. like light to flies pull harder on the strings of your martyr the decieved. along with some more. I had problems hearing matts guitar because I was right next to cory's amp. But the sound was very good and very intense I was suprised how it was as brutal as it was on the cd.

Then came Bodom...the place went nuts they played mostly old material and one or two songs from the new album. I bet it was 110 degrees in the rabbit...and I'm not good with heat so I really couldn't concentrate buy this point. About half way through their set everyone left except for Jaska and he had a nice 5 or so minute drumn solo. then the guys came back on and played some more songs. then Jann had a solo and about 2 mintes into it his second key on the left side of the keyboard jammed and wouldn't come loose...so Alexi came in and took a solo...then they dueled for a while had a couple more songs and ended the show.

THis is from the COB thread and it's pretty much the same as this show

Intro (Twist And Shout)
Living Dead Beat
Sixpounder
Hate Me!
Silent Night, Bodom Night
In Your Face
Angels Don't Kill
Drum solo
Bodom After Midnight / Bodom Beach Terror mix
Follow The Reaper
Needled 24/7
Guitar & Key solo (Alexi & Janne)
We're Not Gonna Fall
Punch Me I Bleed
Hate Crew Deathroll
Are You Dead Yet?

-----

Roope's solo
Chokehold
Everytime I Die
Downfall
Outro (Fight For Your Right (To Party) by Beastie Boys)

All in all this was a awsome show. I'm posting pics for ya'll

I met Matt from Trivium and he gave me a pick! later on I realised that it is one of cory's...oh well Matt gave it to me. I got his autograph on my ticket!
and like a idiot I was out of space on my camra phone and the only way to get them off is with a usb cable...darnit! So no pic with matt this time around

I also gave roope my beany! he put it on and acted all triumphant

Great show if it come to your town check it out

Sorry for rambling

Here the pics are

Awesome dude!!!

What's Alexi like? COB was doing a show at the house of blues @ hollywood,ca the same night that I went to see my fav. local metal band Warhead play down at the famous Whiskey a go-go. Needless to say I was all mixed up as to what show to go to. I ended up not seeing COB but I really want to.

Have you listened to their new album? Most of it was good but WTF is up with the britney spears cover!?

LoL I don't know what the hell is up with that cover...gay!

Alexi is cool I really only got to say hello to him. He said hello back and I stood around and listened to everyone ask him questions

then I went over and talked to Trivium.

Did you like the pictures?

I'm kicking myself for not getting a pic with me and matt...

but they said they should be back in feb...so that's cool

Look out for my beanie it's cream with orange stripes

I can't use the .rar extension. Could you change the format plz. I really want to see this dude with your beanie on. LOL.

Holy sh*t their gonna be back in feb.? Well then I've gotta get some tickets. My boss is a huge metal fan and was the guy I went to see fear factory with. He said that anytime I want to go to a concert all I've gotta do is buy my ticket and he'll take me regardless of who's playing. \m/ \m/

The cover is just a joke let the guys have some fun haha. My friend saw them earlier in the week in San Diego and she really liked the show but she didn't remeber the name of Amon Amarth so I had to look it up myself. I would've liked to go but I couldn't get out of school. That's cool that you went. Are you going to any other concerts anytime soon?

You damn Americans and your awesome concerts

Amon Amarth are awesome
Trivium are Good
CoB are awesome

I saw Trivium, with Arch Enemy back in september, and they were ****ing amazing. We got to meet Corey and Paolo after, and got our tickets signed. Corey is just too cool.

I'll be going to see CoB in january, and I'm looking forward to that It might just make up for the Opeth concert being sold out

Melodic Death, slightly on the heavier side.

They're my favourite band in the genre aside from Arch Enemy.

I've seen Amon Amarth and CoB before... Amon Amarth are badass. CoB are cool too, but they must have a lot of technical problems because when I saw them they were having problems with drum mics.

At this show Trivium had great sound and so did AA but COB could't really get the vocal mics working to well

America get the best gigs. I absolutely love Amon Amarth and Bodom, and trivium also put on a pretty damn good show as well. I'm jealous of Amon Amarth and Bodom, although i'll be seeing Bodom here in the Uk next year.

That sounds awesome. You touched his guitar! Cool pictures. You should've taken pictures of Roope with your orange beanie.

i kept wanting a monkey to charge the stage during thr trivium set, their singer could only say "**** YEAH! LETS GET A CIRCLE PIT! ****!" and only 3 people tried to mosh

Amon Amarth and CoB only would have been alot better, or at least giving Amon Amarth more than a 30 minute set
