The 96-97 Clippers at least made the playoffs to only get swept by the Jazz, lol.

I'm really impressed with Anthony Parker, he's showing why he was a superstar overseas in these last few games. He's spent much of his two seasons in Toronto spotting up behind the arc but he was known as a guy who drove and hit big shots with Israel, and lately he's been doing everything right.

edit: Rasho Nesterovic is 6/7 with 13 points. In the first 8 minutes.

edit2: Two really disappointing losses in a row. Nothing major, but still.

So does Devin Harris know how to pass? The Nets as a team today combined for less assists than Jason Kidd. I didn't think it was possible to only have 8 assists as a team.

I don't think they were expecting to get better with that Kidd trade.

1 assist from your main PG is still unacceptable.

I can't believe the Lakers won today ever after the worst officiating game I can remember.

It was a pretty epic regardless. Dirk hit that 3 when I thought the game was over.

Both sides were getting screwed with the calls so it evened out. Plus Josh Howard was atrocious.

The calls seem to be getting much worse these days, I dont know. It often seems like the refs are trying a taaaaaaaad too hard to take over the game. A lot of stuff they dont need to call is getting called and it's breaking up the flow of the game. The fourth quarter of the Raps vs Bobcats game took like half an hour.

yeah officiating has been horrible lately. since being a Laker fan i only noticed the bad calls the refs made against the lakers haha, but they were really bad calls. like when Dampier hammered Kobe twice and neither one was a flagrant foul. the second maybe wasnt one, but the first one, he wound up and whacked Kobe right in the head. Kobe was phenomenal last night, but Lakers are much better when Kobe doesnt have to score 50+ points a game

The only thing worst then officiating has to be the clock keeping. I mean especially in the 4th quarter how the whistle will be blown and 5 seconds run off the clock after that. LMAO. And then when the refs try to correct it they find a way to screw that up as well.

Yeah, the play'll stop at 2.7, the clock will wind down to 0.6, and somehow the refs decide on like 1.6 or some other random number.

He should be working hard to get enough money to just buy the whole franchise... either that or he committed suicide after that Zach Randolph cross over.

Your username is perfect for an explanation of this year's Miami Heat.

End of the Jazz/Mavs game was great. Sloan's gotta love having a Hornacek in Korver but man Kidd was clutch as always.

16 in a row at home for Utah.

I like Utah a lot, I wish I got to see more of them.

I really can't wait for Boston v Detroit on Wednesday. Wish it wasn't in Boston though because the rims sound like *** and the commentators are atrocious.

Was that stuff about the colour green serious?

Also, the Raptors St.Paddy's day jerseys are awful. Also also, tomorrow will probably not be a good game. We're smart in keeping Bosh out though, we're going to make the playoffs regardless and we just gotta stay afloat for another two games. Orlando getting home court isn't a huge threat really, and I'd rather see them in the first round than Cleveland, because Orlando has zero answer for our backcourt while Lebron can more or less take over a series if he gets hot.

Lakers get their first taste of Sacramento tonight. without Bibby there, there isnt much of a rivalry anymore

Yeah, like it's great that he's getting his shots to fall but he was getting way, way out of hand. Can't force it like he was doing. "Worst game I have ever seen" is absolutely ridiculous though, let's lay off the hyperbole shall we? He has an unacceptable amount of turnovers but he still went 5/8 in the fourth.

I dont know what Mitchell is thinking lately though, putting Jose and TJ in at the same time. TJ has show a complete lack of control in regards to shot selection tonight, and for once Toronto is winning on the glass, so his solution is to go small? I dont get it. Put Brezec back in to help with Turk and Lewis, and keep Rasho on Howard because he does a decent job on him.

No reason to go so small, we had a legitimate shot at stealing this game and Ford getting ahead of himself kind of threw that out the window.

He doesn't pass, he keeps turning the ball over, and he isn't playing defense. It really has been the worst game I have ever seen. He completely threw the game away at the end.

He was pestering Arroyo, and he was doing what he needed to do initially, because he was creating a 1v1 situation that Orlando couldn't win. But then, yeah, he decided not to pass anymore.

He's obviously still trying to get the natural flow back into his game. But it's still great to see his swagger back, dropping 3 is never pretty but in the grand scheme of things it isn't a huge loss. TJ has to keep working, Bosh has to rest, what can you do. We played great until the fourth, TJ just didn't get AP involved.

So I am pretty sure all Dwight Howard can do is dunk the ball.

Offensively at this point, yeah. He can do some little close jump-hooks but Ewing has a lot of work to do with him.
