It already came through here. I didn't go, I hear it sold out though, so I guess other people liked it.

They have "game stations" at the back apparently where you can play new games on the GC and DS. I'm not sure, I never went, but I knew they had game sections.

I'd be torn about going. On one hand, it's 5 completely amazing bands (The Starting Line, anyone?) on one night. I love tours like that, where you see all these fantastic bands on one night.

On the other hand though, I've also heard the shows were crap. They are filled with snobby girl scenesters, accompanied of course by their ever-giving fathers. There's no pits as well. In fact, I know this one guy who went and tried to start a pit with his friend, and some girl's dad shouted at him for "elbowing his daughter".

That's different. Vans make clothing for skate companies, bands, they've released compilation CDs and DVDs.

Carling Weekend does sell Carling, and that argument was pathetic.

In the end, all these companies are doing is sponsoring the events. They didn't plan the tours, book the bands, they just slapped the company name up to draw in more people and show off some of their products.

What? That V Festival has nothing to do with V's? Because that's what I was pointing out, and if that was sarcasm from you then I didn't detect it
