Without Boyzone there wouldn't be no Backstreet Boys or Westlife.

So, yea, them.

But without DJ Sammy, we'd have no Kraftwerk. So they win, idiot.

But without 50 cent, there would be no DJ Sammy. Think about it.

That's about as stupid as saying My Chemical Romance didn't invent emo.

No MCR = No 50 Cent

But without the two of them, we'd have no wannabe emo bands like Rites of Spring.

That's the truth. But then again.. we wouldn't have emo at all if Simple Plan didn't start punk.

S'hit, you're right.

Bands like Black Flag, Minor Threat, Wire and Dead Kennedys really piss me off! They're basically just copying Simple Plan, except their lyrics don't have all the subtle political metaphors Simple Plan filled theirs with. Nothing annoys me more than Jello Biafra on stage singing about how he's addicted to some girl. Fukking wannabes!

When Simple Plan sings about world affairs and socio-political turmoil, they ensconce their messages with clever metaphors about girls and teen angst. Dead Kennedys just puts it too bluntly and matter-of-fact, which really decreases the power of their "messages" which they just copied from SP anyway.

I agree. The way Simple Plan crafts all of their songs to sound nearly identical also helps convey the message.
