With the other bands you listed, you'll probably like them. For everyone else they're just another boring college-rock pseudo-jam band used exclusively to seduce sorority chicks.

The only song you need to know of theirs is "Crazy Game of Poker," and that's usually about 15 minutes, anyway. Arguably, you could get "Hey Girl" and "City on Down," too, and maybe a few others, but they're terribly generic/average college rock for college parties: longwinded jams that barely go anywhere, simple music, downright elementary lyrics, and boring studio albums. Dispatch is 3,000 times better.

You don't need to post this in more than one forum, one thread is enough.

do i know OAR?

i know not to listen to their crap.

and by the way...NO band compares to sublime. not jack johnson (he did horrible covers onthe sublime tribute cd) not dispatch (acoustic mumbo jumbo) and definatly not OAR. Sublime hit numorous styles of music while keeping the same feel. just cause its fun to get stoned and listen to an acoustic band doesnt mean you can compare them to sublime

My girlfriend likes them. So that sort of means I like them too. Wink wink.

O.A.R is pretty good (I heard them a long time ago, they went to a high school about 10 miles from here). Not so much my style of music, but they've got a good sound even though I don't like them.

I bet they had to tell you who they were. I sure as hell wouldn't recognize them.

Yea, I had no clue what they looked like. Now I know they look like frat boys.
