Tell me about this group. It's a "supergroup" made up of bassist Mike Watt (Minutemen), Wilco guitarist Nels Cline, Stephen Perkins (Jane's Addiction drummer) and trumpeter Willie Waldman. (Snoop Dogg and Tupac Shakur).

Are they any good? It's an interesting mix I must say.

They came to my town awhile back but it was 18+ but I heard they are pretty good. Intense live show I've heard.

This is the same for me. They really sound like a band I could really like, yet I haven't looked much further into the band.

Well, Nels plays on Mike Watt's Contemplating the Engine Room, so we have an idea of what that part of the band probably sort of sounds like. Perkins is a really good drummer, so it probably works nicely.

I'll have to hear.

On that note, anyone heard Dos? It's Mike Watt and Kira(not sure who she is) playing bass with her doing most of the singing.

Yes I have, Kira is his ex wife and was a member of Black Flag.

Anything with Mike Watt has to be good, unless I've been fooled.

Yeah, they are really great. Kira has a nice voice, which surprised me at first. She should have sung in Black Flag.
