Introduce me to Hella

I recently heard the song "Hello great architects of the universe" and it caught my fancy. What Hella album should i get first?

You could probably get The Devil Isn't Red album.

If you're in it for Zach Hill's drumming, it also pays to check out Zach Hill & The Holy Smokes, and Crime In Choir.

Yeah, I don't like the albums that much either really. I think Zach Hill is an incredible drummer but as far as actual songwriting goes I don't think Hella are particularly good. That's why I recommened Zach Hill & The Holy Smokes, and Crime In Choir, I find they are just as awesome in terms of drumming and a bit nicer sounding.

^ For sure, I saw them live in Sydney a little while ago, his beats live were awesome and he had a great solo spot as well.
