Internet band anyone?

Heres the deal...my name is Drake, I've been playing bass for about 4 years and I'm interested in starting a progressive'ish style internet band. Over the summer, I realized that playing in a band isn't for me. I don't like practicing for hours and hours and have no time to do nothing else besides be with the band. Also standing with the bass kills my back. Besides all that, I just don't want to be in a "live" band. Touring and the musician life is just against everything that I'm for (I don't drink, smoke anything, etc. i prefer to hang out with people that don't). So if anyone is interested in starting an Internet group let me know here, email me ( ( drake.domingue@gmail.com ) or IM me BassSolo12 (AIM)

I'm looking for:

Vocalist (maybe depends on music)
Guitarist (rythm and lead, but if you can do both than no problem)
Drummer
and a Keyboardist

Let me know,

Drake

Someone record a track (preferably the guitar riff) and send the file to..let's say to me, and i'll record the bass track, and so on.

I'm into:

Dream Theater
Balck Crowes
Rush
Iron Maiden
Black Label Society
Skid Row
Aerosmith

Stuff like that, I also really enjoy acoustic/piano stuff.

I'm playing and writing songs with a guy from france now. I live in Quebec.

www.myspace.com/witchbangers

there's two songs, but we got tons of other writed and recorded but incomplete songs. He plays guitar and sing, I play drums. So we're looking for a bassman but we dont really have the same influence/taste...

If you give me your mail I can send you other things we did.

Edit : do you got a good recording equipement?

there's always a veyr limited motivation to work forinternet bands, since you can't ever encourage eachother. plus, the way you state is a veyr slow way of writing songs indeed, expecially since rocording is such a slow process (1 small error -> bad take...)

I added you to my msn. I don't know a lot of things in recording stuff, you could ask people on these forums cause they're surely better than me. And if you want drums for a song, let me know, I'll be pleased to do it.

And for the guitar, we already got a guitar player. And its an internet band so we dont need 2 guitar players.

This can be a huge motivation too. We did a lot of songs now, and its just great.

And the way we usually work is like the guitar player plays something, records it with metronome, sends it to me, I add drums... We also work a lot with guitar pro.

It can happen that I record a cool durm beat, send it to the other, and he add a guit riff that will fit with the beat.
