If you're in the mood for some listening...
listen to some of my music. it's basically like jam band/jazz/improv. It is all jazz, which is basically just any sort of improvisation. La Fiesta is a cover of Chick Corea, Lotus Feet was done by McLaughlin, but our version is pretty different. there are others.....TAKE A LISTEN!

Just listened to La Fiesta
Guitar sounds very good, pretty skilled. I don't like the bass tone though... a bit too growly for my liking. But its pretty good! I will listen to more later. |

No, go listen to Herbie Hancock's album Maiden Voyage. I am listening to it right now and just decided that it's one of my favorite albums.

By the way, it doesn't count as La Fiesta if the La Fiesta melody is never stated and the La Fiesta changes are never followed. What you played is just an Em jam in 3/4 with a bass line that kinda sounds like the one from La Fiesta.

"Review"
La Fiesta was good. Interesting sound.
Lotus Feet sounds even more promising. Great atmosphere in the beginning, hope it lasts. I really like the overall atmosphere, but I certainly notice some nice flute melodies. This is a good piece, dear fellow. I'm going to listen to this track again in the future. Definately. OK, time for next song in the playlist. Seems like it's Doomblossomson... next. OK, I can hear the ambition in the beginning - the bass intro. Nice rock chord progression follows. The next detail I noticed was the groovy drumming rhythm. This track really grabs the attention of an intermediate Iron Maiden fan. The guitar has got a raw, unpolished, wild - very alive - style that I like. It sounds like he's got more control when playing rhythms, but this does not mean the melodies aren't interesting. I like it when he plays faster solo passages. Sounds very... improvisational. Drumbassgroove. Good interplay between the bassist and the drummer. Then Beneath The DESERT! Messy intro. Didn't notice anything about this song. Now playing: Pop'n slap. This sounds a little more interesting. This is music I enjoy listening to. Music I could listen to for a long time while doing other things, like exploring my computer, etc. I actually like what the guitarist does on this song. More than on the previous track. The drumming and bass is very good. Halfway through the song now. I'm about to become a little tired of the fast speed of the guitarist. He should calm down and groove together with the bass and drums every now and then. That said, many of the guitar parts suits the song greatly too. OK - Acid silhouettes will not finish downloading. Hence, time for the conclusion after listening to all of those songs. Very interesting music, inspiring. Believe it or not, but the drum and bass groove song stands out. Also, LOTUS FEET was not. Keep up the good work. Upload more songs in the future? |

Am I correct in assuming that the Amit in question is Eggo?
Anyway, I liked the first one. Good stuff. |
