Aching, so helpless,
when the answers are clear. Seems the rolling storm will make me sleep. It's getting late, dear I'm running out of fear, but the pursuers lead, to inherit godspeed. Stuffing the stars with ill-willed contempt Furthers the study of what I've become. Serenades of enchained amperes Strike at my feet, jolting the attempt. I fell short of fate, this time. Irony was too steep to climb. Conversing with the skies in an empty stratosphere's clearing. Words infused with truth escaped a bolt's lightning: Shift the attention from the volts of the golden strand; a vessel of highest tension unfolds passage to the promised land. So where I stand, there it plummets Grasping my hand, Ascending like a bullet. (Where am I now, cloudy summit?) Choking, I sing in demise, Can't breathe now, throat petrifies. Awakening; soft elation. an epilogue for confusion. "a vessel of highest tension"? Dreams are sparking lies. What dwells in the atmospheric cold, Contrasting what the thunder told, Depletes the count to self-destruction. Last edited by -1up!-; 09-23-2005 at 08:35 AM. |

Aquamarine Dreams
Last night I fell asleep with you upon my mind:
Aquamarine dreams of scenes frozen on celluloid; Still life with moving parts, Allowing the shards of my heart To twist and mingle With icicle tears, bled from wounded eyes. Condensed water filmed windows Mask tar black sins, Except from those within, Who know exactly what they do. As they writhe, And twist, And kiss, I stand outside with my breathe solidifying, With only scorched pride to keep me warm. Did you inherit your lies along with those eyes? Both cause visions of endless green oceans: Jealousy, Tranquillity, Both sever me, From ascendancy. How can I plan To be a better man, When all this wood separates me from the trees? How can I plan To be your better man, When you bathe yourself with his lips Inside my private hell on wheels? Last edited by EmergencyRoom; 09-17-2005 at 12:54 PM. |

In her name
The horns are roaring from the distance,
the battle begins it's holy ritual. God has given me her bless. I can kill. My mission, satisfy her decree. My life belongs to the leper king, My sword protects my God's will. Shall the impure be raided of this land, And our king forever be hailed. The blood of the impure feeds my power, The land of the unholy awakes my desire To conquer for my Lord's sacred ground, And spread the holy word through the corrupt. Why should your bastard son Inherit your hallowed land? I shall defeat the sacrilegious, and exterminate the depraved. All shall be vanquished, and tremble with sole name. My cherished God, Your blessing makes gives me strength, and makes the enemy weak. Last edited by TojesDolan; 09-19-2005 at 11:33 AM. |

It has been an extremely long time since I have entered one of these.
- Amelia for a night, then the Amalfi – Burgundy is so beautiful in the spring time Sitting here, this night, enjoying this sipping wine. Do you miss the Mediterranean as I do? Of course, dearest Amelia. I shall inherit the sea once more. It was sunset over the villa And she was so beautiful draped in white silk. The only light was the glare off the ocean And the only flaw was knowing it wouldn’t last. [It couldn’t last…] I was downtown when I saw her next; At that cozy café down on Tenth Street. [Oh, how charming those baristas can be.] She looked so comfortable As her eyes pirouetted around the conversation, Eager for a[nother] lover to save her. If only my fingers spoke in thespian tongues… If only my voice could echo octaves of songbirds… If only my lips could taste a thrush like her… Perhaps I should just let her be. For we’ll always have the Amalfi. |

just a little stream of conciousness thing i wipped up 4yall
hope u enjoy Lest We Remember... Lately i've been thinking Perhaps this one conciousness I've been free of for so long Is the answer to my nothingness Or just a key to something less For you'll never experience All I can imagine You'll never taste The colour of the sky You'll never even wonder why But its the dreams that I forget And this life that I remember Could it be the other way around? And its the knowing that I long for And the having that I evade Could it be that I have found... What its all about? But lately i've been tumbelling Into the depths of my own mind Seems so distant, yet so perfect The only way to remind What I have left to find For you will never question All you'll do is be But then again, is it them Or me that cannot see This enigma we must leave This silence we must lead But its the dreams that I inherit And the living that I inhibit Could it be the other way around? And its the knowing that I love And the having that I want Could it be that I have found What its all about Could it be that I have found That to have faith, is to doubt Is it live that's moving, or is it you Or are we just all standing still Dreaming... of the live we never had... but somehow knew... Transcending above lifeless strangers, Asking, "which conciousness are you?" Last edited by d0ped0g; 09-19-2005 at 05:39 AM. |

This is when a value is of no worth.
You shimmered in sepia tones, in muddied yet golden scenes. Where sharp cut figures exhaled laughter, And you got caught amongst smiling peers. That was when values were expected. I'm vibrant upon a whittled park bench. Where the grass still thrives, in lushous green accents. And flowers evoke the fullest spectra. I'm examined in full blown colour print. But i'll be alone, with silence for company. Whilst friends fill bellys with liquor, lungs with tar and themselves with immoralites. This is when a value is of no worth. No worth to society's blurry eyes. Yes, i'm expected to inherit all my father has. But it's never been tougher. I'm examined in full blown colour print. Most Tragic Flaw (Best Friends Make the Best Enemies)
I remember.
there was a time when you looked upon me with something more than this monotony. but time draws and contracts the short- the manifest second consumed and inert. dearth is as it seems, though ‘I know not seems’. Indeed it is, and I pay dearly for my speech. The spoken word, the hell bent drawl; but unto your ears it means nothing at all. Your regret of me is bitter ice to my remains. the purging soul and stomach, the dulling of my sane. And I weep with a consciousness of my muscles detached with eyes ajar; unable to rise and deaden my watch. She comes again to sell herself short and unspoken for a limping body unhinged and estranged to choke. The stale taste of mouth drenched upon the ground; she cowers every strike, and kneels for the grout. It’s something unfamiliar I inherit from my superior: any range of emotion rapt behind a skin barrier. The thing that just kills me is that I’m the tragic third and that nothing escapes from the wrath of their birth. Last edited by WhatILivefoR; 09-17-2005 at 01:11 PM. |

Empty Lungs And Promises
His cigarette outshined the moon. He ate embers. They peeled and sheared From the stick, glowing fireflies Dead in jars with untouched lids. His kids were home with empty stomachs. All the meek can hope to inherit, A mountain of stains and spit and **** and Souls sold over blood-signed X's. He flicked his wrist and wasted breath. It rained terror. All blood and teeth From the sky, flooding water From the mouths of dying whores. They wore his girlfriend's favorite lipstick. I turned my head to cradle thoughts Of his fingers. They curled and clawed At his mouth, unclean scissors Tore apart his priceless art. His heart was pulsing red acrylic. All his children would ever inherit, A mountain of graves and holes and tolls and Souls born under father's hexes. Last edited by SubtleDagger; 09-17-2005 at 11:20 AM. |

ON THE ROOTS WE STAND
In order to understand, dear child, You must ignore the history of the crows. For all crows past, are like remembered rhymes, like the milk of the dead and the soap it churns. Like roadside messiahs, like arches in memory, like slaves on the mend that echo across the alphabet. Ten million crows marked the end of all reason. Their love, once crystallised fed the hungry. And obscured by velvet, they slither like snakes. Once held down, you will inherit the earth. |

Legally Inane
The fetal moon rests, pubescent Cloud's blank stare, Shades break iridescent Lashes flutter like feathers Graze flesh on their decline Tender stains of fervor And fidelity intertwine Inherit seclusion, in caresses Adlib scoliosis Tadpole transgresses Conscious inconsistent Pitched crippled affection Pierced assurance weeps With conventional rejection Virgin hairs, cradle canvases Vacant view, unaware Cherub subsists |

Been a little while
The Taste of Truth Is... When giving a summation, do not lapse into detail Stay true to the facts and make sure to touch on all relevant information When your blood runs thin and eyes are blurred The reserves have lost their way There will be no retreat, only total and unconditional surrender You and your cause are lost If at any point you lose your train of thought, come to a closing and ask for questions You represent every lost siege, and broken line You're going to die here, you know that don't you? If you come to a point where it is necessary that you fill in information Do not begin to fidget or stall Your audience will know you are lying and therefore discount all that you have said You lie there lost in reason, with the sky at your feet With a whirlind of words and lies and truths flashing through the void You've inherited your mothers latest trait, immune into inert You've got no choking left to do, you're already dead |
