Are you in a band?

How many here are in a band?
If you are, what genre? bandname? webpage?

I'm in a band called Dåven. (It is in Norwegian, but we did'nt come up with anything else, so we're changing it later)
It's not really a Hardcore or Emo band, more a type of weird rock, but it's because we all listens to different genres and stuff.

I play bass and my friend plays guitar. We live in a small town. We are the only people that don't listen to rap or pop.

So no. I'm not in a band.

I am guitarist for a pop-punk/psuedo emo band called Almost Even. Lately we have been getting heavier, leaning more towards hardcore. I'm the only guy in the band that listens to hardcore though.

Yeah. Kinda spikey, quirky post-whatever with a really long name. Just got mentioned as one of the reasons 'Yorkshire Rocks' in the NME which if you dont know is the worst magazine ever.

OMGZ I LUV UR BAND!!!1!1!LoL

anyways...

I'm not currently in a band, although I'm trying to start up a crossover thrash/old school hardcore band. Think the Accused had an auto-accident with Goilla Biscuits. I'll be doing vocals. Toss in some surf and skate rock influence, and ye got what I want.

Also, I might play bass in a hardcore band. They say they want somethign similar to Blood for Blood, but I'm still contemplating on whether or not to do it.

I play guitar in a popcore or pseudo-emo, whichever you prefer, band.
I also do back-up vocals.
The screaming and the likes.
I'm the only one in the band that actually listens to real emo, or any other genre besides pop-punk (the blues)

I'm kinda in a band, the problem is that the rest of the band lives like 100 miles from where i'm living at the moment... We only do covers yet, like rise against, rise against the machine, saosin and the kind of stuff

Everyone in my town has the shittiest tastes in music, so I am not in a band. I tried to be in a band, but all they wanted to play was pop-punk (not good pop-punk, horrible pop-punk, like Blink 182, Green Day, etc.). I went along with it, but didn't like it very much at all. So until I find people that want to play the same music that I want to play, I won't be in a band.

I play guitar and my friend is a really good drummer. We have a bassist who would do well for the time being. I listen to all types of metal/hardcore and at this point what we play really depends on what kind of vocals we can find. If it were up to me I would like to play tech metal in the vein of Glass Casket and PsyOpus. Playing generic metalcore stuff with breakdowns everywhere is also fun but I want to stray from cliches. I want to do something original.

I play bass in a kind of metalcore/grindcore band, we just got together like a month ago but we're pretty good at writing stuff. We haven't recorded anything yet, so we don't have a website or anything.

my friend plays drums and I play bass. We've been just playing whatever kind of stuff for about 2 years but mostly punk/pop-punk/hardcore/emo/covers kind of stuff. We just recently got a guitar player. A while ago we recorded some ramones songs on casette with our friend who cant sing but it was funny, at the end you can hear some old christian music, its kind of like the unitenional bonus track.
