Video of a good bassist within

Okay, I discovered this video by accident, but this guy is good. okay, so his slapping is a bit pants, but his fingerstyle playing is very good. Enjoy...

im digging it. I don't mind his slapping, i mean he was just doing a generic kind of slap pop thing, but it seemed ok. The fingerplaying was very cool, classical like.

yeah, his slapping was a snooze fest, but his fingerstyle is ace, with all those hammer ons and trills.

He's ok, he just lacks groove. He has the knowledge, he just doesn't know how to use it. Like I was talking to Almighty about, Feel+Knowledge=GOOD

Yeah, he was sloppy and was getting so much buzzing. And that pickguard is disgusting!

He also made me cringe when he did some random taps..

Yea, I wanted to punch him when he did those tapped harmonics. It would have been fine if he did one, but he did all the ones he knew. That made me mad. Like I said, knowing is nothing if you don't have feeling.

the first piece he plays cool. I dont know if he is a pro or not, and sloppy and tasteless or whatever, its head and sholders above anything Ive heard written by anyone on these boards.

I for one enjoyed it, The Last Autumn was really nice. The rest of it wasn't "impressive" or anything, but it was still really cool to watch. There was buzz and stuff, but so what? My only complaint was his "E" string seemed a bit too low for what he was playing.
Thanks for sharing the video Chris K.

I was really impressed with the finger style... as for the slappings tuff I thought it was alright, nothing really crazy but I'm assuming that he is a metal bassist and doesn't use it much anyway.

As for the bass, am I the only one who though it actually looked good?

He wasnt that bad, the first stuff was ok, kinda indian/medieval sounding. the second riff made me laugh coz it was baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad. and the slapping i thought was actually alright, he had a good little riff goin on i thought. his tapping was also sickly. overall about a 5 outa 10 lol

it was nice to see him at the beginning, but it was a bit boring later on. His slapping wasn't advanced but it was ok. the tapped harmonics were very out of place but the thing I disliked most is; the guy is in his late thirties and he keeps making fingersigns ( ) at the camera

Haven't finished the video yet, but so far:

The beggining was meh, I really liked the other part (the "classical" bit).

His tone is a bit annoying... It seems to be the strings.

Pretty cool i thought, i liked the first bit. Probably the most disgusting guitar i have come across though. Also noticed he bites his finger nails. ~_~
