Yeah that was lame, but the new title goes to show what these hobbit movies really represent despite being great in a lot of ways, which is showing off as much effects and forced epicness over anything else :/

You could probably say the same about the original trilogy actually. For its time and all.

not to the same extent

the original trilogy was unable to include all the original "epicness" from the novels whereas they are adding to the hobbit in order to extend it

plus there is more cgi etc

Raid 2.

Just watched this again.

Did I mention that after you've watched this movie, you will feel as if you just got your ass kicked yourself. I was literally trying to dodge the moves while watching it in my sofa.

And the cinematography is top notch.

Masterpiece.

I just watched this last night for the first time. Saw the first one and I've been meaning to watch it. Holy fuck. All day today I have been on my toes ready for a group of 20 people to start attacking me. Such a god-damn-good movie.

yo towards the end of the movie, the main character threw two big water jugs (without water in them) at a group of bad guys, one got hit and he stayed down.

Smart motherfucker.

lol.
Yeah watched that for the first time this past friday....If I wasn't forcing beer and chicken wings down my wind-pipe I'd likely be coughing blood for added effect. I was into it. Cut and dry pacing and editing, but once the bulk of the movie gets going there is little doubt that you're in for some serious violence.

Wow! I just watched this and mind=blown! I'm not gonna lie this film looked a little overrated and hyped up and I was not expecting it to be a masterpiece...which is what it is fully. I got a bad version I'm buying the blu ray definitely!
I'm so glad I came on here today ... thanks!

One problem though...all other movies are going to suck now

In case you were wondering how they pull off that crazy shot during the car chase scene:

I could tell the director must have spent a long time on each sequence. The choreography is flawless. It's as if he noticed one tiny thing wrong with a scene he started over. I'm watching it again tonight.

predestination

starts off odd, then immediately goes into this long story of a seemingly random character

unfortunately, I was able to predict the "twist" well before the director explicitly spells it out for the dense individuals.

it was a pretty good movie, but any movie with time travel is extremely far fetched
