the trailer for Wonder Woman made it look like she was on a travelator the whole time like in that movie sucker punch

Those dc movies go for a comic booky look which I appreciate but with all the cg and colour correction stuff it feels like a perfume ad, I hate it

teenage classic, still pretty decent. I like the scene in the bathroom and in the cockpit, but overall the plot is lacking

The special effects in this film were so ridiculous and beyond the realm of physical possibility that it made most of the film seem absurd. But overall ignoring the most egregious, including the plane scene, it was a fairly enjoyable film. I can't remember if I've seen it before or if I've seen the tv version of it before but I think I saw it on tv.

nah i didnt man its still on my computer i kind of was waiting for the right time where i could sit through it then forgot about it, thanks for the reminder maybe ill get to it this weekend i dont have a lot planned

i think i lost a bit of motivation because i wasnt super stoked on ouat in the west tbh, i mean yeah it was fantastic but it just didnt seem as well done as good bad ugly which blew my mind, it was more of a slow burn like a taratino flick

i hear america is a slow burn too but i think ill enjoy it more, deniro, gangster jews in the lower east side (i love old new york as a setting in movies, nyc fascinates me), more of a typical mob film

Yeah nothing is quite like The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. Once Upon a Time in the West is amazing. I love it. America though is very long and you have to really pay attention, there's also a scene with DeNiro that left a sour taste in my mouth on first watch. But still, it's Sergio's "magnum opus" and it's quite astonishing how he captured some of the scenes. You'll never see that in a movie again that's for sure.

Yeah this should get people to watch our movie. A man about to shoot himself in the head, and die. That's what normal people want to see

Quite good film, but not as good as the critics say. I probably won't watch again but it's something I would watch with a friend who hadn't seen it. It's one of those things you've seen once and that's enough.

I beg to differ. That's wholly a matter of opinion. I'm a fan of 90s movies and there are so many movies from that era that I'd rather see for an 8th, 10th, or 12th time than see this film a 2nd time. To start with US Marshals, The Rock, National Lampoon's Vegas Vacation.

But.. that is a movie from the 90's. Literally in the middle. You just have bad taste and poor judgement.

Good day, Sir.

You mean you finally have realized Putin is the sane one and it's leaders in the west who are drunk on power and blood?

Welcome back Chuck, this place is called reality. I always believed you would find your way back.

putins motivations are clearer to me now but he's still an authoritative dictator that murders detractors, controls the media, is in my opinion overly nationalistic, quite socially conservative (is or portrays himself to be an orthodox christian), etc

the west has it's problems too which i could start listing off as well but that's not the point, it's about understand the perspective of another unaligned world power

Yeah I recently discovered how Osho died and it made me sick to my stomach. I hate where I live and I'm ashamed to even say where I'm from.

Oh man, you're in for a nice journey with Jodorowsky. I would check out El Topo first. It has a spaghetti western-esque vibe with tons of allegory. John Lennon used to go watch that almost every week at the time it was only being played in theaters after midnight. It has a tremendous amount of replay value as well.

But The Night Configuration is hands down my fav ever. Such a rare film and Stacy Keach's best performance imho.
