Godzilla.

Reasonable people led me to believe it wouldn't be entirely shit, but it was.

None of the characters or events actually contributed anything to the final outcome, it was just a bunch of people panicking, with a Japanese guy making "profound" statements every so often.

Not a movie, but old television program. Was one of the smart cartoons back in the day, before Family Guy.

X-Men: Days of Future Past

Really good. Quicksilver was hilarious. Really had some feels seeing how the sentinels treated some of the mutants. :'(

A certain hand holding scene in Days Of Future Past almost had me in tears. Seriously the best superhero film I've ever seen, definitely better than the avengers.

After the Dark

A philosophical thought experiment into the end-of-the-world for an international high school in Jakarta. I don't know how pretentious or interesting this sounds to you, but I really liked it. There's a lot of introductory psychological foundations, named by name even, so don't expect a master's class.

There's plenty of faults to be found, but it should certainly be able to turn some people on to some deeper thinking. I didn't even mind all the insanely attractive people that made up the cast. It was kind of like Hollywood teaching Psychology 101. I'm gonna watch it again.

Does anyone remember the movie, I want to say it's no more than 15 years old, and there's one small segment where there's a guy in the foreground who has one of the virtual reality devices on his head and a guy says he's losing his virginity as a woman in the virtual world.

Some reason I always thought Mark would be the first to sign up for one of those.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

Liked the second half, the first half was too self-indulgent.

I'm getting the picture that lots of these 90s action films are zero realistic.

Penetrating the White House through the underground tunnel system? Or, steal highly confidential materials out of the evidence warehouse and is just let go for it? There was so much wrong with this movie. And some of the script seemed highly implausible too.

Or, Hey, let's go to war with the North Koreans to distract from major scandal!

Because that would so totally happen in real life, obviously.

Lucky Number Slevin

Decent plot but the characters and the dialogue were corny as hell.
