Captain America. Terrible quality in pacing, montage of his foreign exploits was lol, hilarious CGI putting Evans' face on a smaller body was the only reason I watched as long as I did and then I felt invested 4/10

Idk what to expect. It looks so cheesy but The Good, the bad, the ugly was cheesy in a great way so I have high hopes.

EWS, if you haven't watched A Bitter Sweet Life and I saw the devil I rec doing so asap.

ya i recently rewatched bittersweet and it was better the 2nd time around, 7.5/10

its kind of like, simple as fuck but it seems the more you watch it, the more you will like it, like a grower

and I saw the devil is pretty much the best revenge film ever so.

edit:

Might watch My Way soon, movie made by the same director as Taegukgi which is like the best war film ever so.

Workaholics

Season 1 - 8/10

Season 2 - 8/10

Pretty much three friends who work a entry level telemarketer job who constantly get high and drunk who do stupid things. Poop jokes, penis jokes, vagina jokes, pop culture references. Just an all around feel good show.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SVLiLMAywNM

keep in mind that there are waay funnier parts to the show than those, but you get a good idea of the show

Only beef was that Schwarzenegger was in it for all of about 2 minutes and they made some lame crack about his character wanting to be president. Not bad for what it was I suppose, pretty generic actioner for all the star billing.

awful. tried way too hard to be 'meta' and 'post-ironic' or w.e. just painfully self aware and purposely messy without it actually amounting to anything.

also was 'meta', but amusing and actually decent. kind of disappointed with it overall, due to hype, but i liked the concept and found it pretty entertaining.

Decent action movie with great cameos and jabs at veteran action stars. Dialogue is meh as expected, and not every action scene is memorable. 7.something/10

Also Cabin in the Woods is terrrrrrrible.

The Man From Nowhere - 7.5/10

A Korean take on "Taken". I found the fact he forged a relationship with this kid so quickly a little odd, but I was more than willing to overlook it when the action scenes kicked in.

The Raid: Redemption - Obsceneamountofaction/10

Big fan of this. Essentially 90 minutes of ass-kicking, with some relentless and original fight scenes. Highly recommended.

Loved the movie, Rooney Mara was awesome. Exceeded expectations.

I have the 3 Swedish movies and the American one. Saw the American first, Swedish are next. Now I'll watch movies 2 and 3 in Swedish and leave the Swedish version of Girl with the Dragon Tattoo for last.

A war film that makes its way from the Soviet–Japanese Border Wars to the eastern front of ww2 to the western front of ww2.

Same director of the of Taegukgi and it shows, it pretty much takes the same elements from that movie to the Tee, with the same actor. Pretty much a movie about two men bonding. This time the two men can't stand each other's guts even though they knew each other most of their lives and they both have the same hobby.

The actions scenes are even more chaotic than before, like literally hundreds of men charging into about 40 tanks jumping under them to suicide bomb the tanks, the scenes are bloody too, don't eat while watching this. I think they really showed how stupid/reckless yet prideful Japanese tactics were during the war.

Also had a problem with how they dealt with some of the characters. And how bulletproof some of them were, but what can you do.

if you want to watch a South Korean War film, I highly suggest Taegukgi which is like the best war film ever so.

7/10

either WW2 films are cheap to make or Korea really knows how to fucking spend 25 million dollars, I don't know. This movie looks like it needed atleast 100 million.
