2016 NFL Thread: Brady's Balls Strike Back

Sort of. Draft day tomorrow aka NFL Christmas. What are you hoping for under the goal post for your team?

Give me Ramsey. If someone snatches him away at 3 though, give me Zeke.

it picked the redskins which is cool cos i am gonna cheekily follow the nats in baseball alongside padres (cos nats don't suck and padres suck), so two capital teams is nice. plus i liked the redskins when i was doing picks last season.

and plus they play in maroon which is like my fav

Well I can't let you be an uninformed Redskins fan cause those are the worst. SBNation has blogs that are staffed by super fans. They're biased (obviously) but they're also super critical and they tend to be fairer and more knowledgeable than national media outlets.

Thats the Redskins site. The daily news dumps usually link sites that are ultra credible as well so those are your go tos for every day info.

The draft is a great time to get into a team though. You can pretty much start with the team the same way as the new players they get and have a place/players to anchor too.

This city is going crazy with the whole Bradford/Wentz thing. Crazy, I tell ya.

It's about time that it's almost better to be a Bears fan here. Pace says he wants to trade down from 11 too, and I am all about that this year.

Laura, Washington Redskins have never won a Super Bowl. I mean, if you were born in Virginia or something. But why would you willingly choose to follow a team that history suggests will lead you to years of disappointment and grief?

I like Wentz. When he was talked about being in the 2nd round I was all for Dallas taking him. 2nd overall though is nutty. Kid has like 1.75 years of college starting experience in North Dakota.

This might be the year they come close to tieing/breaking the record for trades in the first round. Record being 16 trades.

False. You're thinking of the Eagles.

What difference does it make? They haven't won since 1991. That boggles the mind, how I didn't know anything about the '91 Super Bowl until just now. She would be better off picking a team that has a plausible chance at reaching a final in our lifetime.

Redskins hired Scot McCloughan to be their GM this year. He alone makes the Redskins the team I worry about the most long term in the NFC East. He was the personnel guy behind the 49er and Seahawk teams that made it to the NFCC and Super Bowls.

I think the team to most worry about long term is the Cowboys, because they suck, and have sucked for a very long time.

I think Brosa falls to 5. Chargers prefer Buckner. Dallas doesn't want him.

Ramsey isn't getting past Dallas. Either goes 3 or 4.

Well guys, keep me informed. I'm probably checking out early. Like 8 pm. Early to bed, late to rise. That's what you get when you're weak and don't eat well (and stay up all day and all night).
