Album Release Dates

I have gone in to edit the release dates in my reviews, and they don't appear on the main page, beside the artist and album title.

Have you entered the complete release date? I noticed that when you only enter the release year, the year does not show up. Only when the complete realease date is entered.

I go to CDnow/Amazon for release dates, actually. It's located about the middle of the page.

Me too. But I noticed about Amazon, that they have often re-release versions of the CDs in the Database. For example, I noticed that 'Morning View' by Incubus was dated there to the year 2004... So Amazon should be handled "with care" in a way

Well, right, right. I would trust that people would use common sense when posting dates.

I mean, the only people who seem to care about going back and adding the release dates are the people most active on the site.

RYM is the best for release dates.

I also noticed, if you don't enter a full date, it doesn't save the year at all. Which is odd.
